Welcome to Movember! This is a bumper week of health, holidays, Canal Street Card, Gourmet Society offer, Basketball, Perkz deals and two great competitions to win family tickets to see The Sound of Music and a new iPad Pro!

Good luck to all those who are taking part in Movember this year. The campaign aim is to seek to make a global contribution to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. The University has a great range of health, fitness and wellbeing activities on campus plus lots of health and fitness discounts for you to access in your local area!

The November newsletter is out with savings that will help you with your day to day and Christmas shopping! Offers this month include SuperBreak (save 15% online), Bosch – save an extra 15% this November on selected dishwashers and washing machines, three for two offers on hair care and extra discounts on Tassimo and Bean two cup coffee machines, plus a free M&S Gift Card if you spend over £100 on small appliances. Gourmet Society
With a Gourmet Society membership you can tuck in to 25% off the total bill - including drinks - or two-for-one meals at over 6,000 restaurants nationwide. Members also get exclusive access to the Gourmet Society mobile app, meaning you can enjoy instant restaurant savings at your fingertips with a digital membership card plus up to 40% off on cinema tickets and much more. Canal Street card
The Canal-St VIP Card was specifically developed for the LGBT community and delivers fantastic discounts with over 80 deals and offers (many valid for up to 4 people) on LGBT venues, lifestyle, products and services. The normal price of the card is £20 but University staff can access this for £17 per year via this link.
Rampant Lion
The Rampant Lion complex on Anson Road, Victoria Park, is a fully refurbished iconic Grade II listed building serving Italian food. They are offering all University staff 10% discount off their Don Leone, Sama, Roma & Verona menus. Just show your staff ID/student card. In addition they are inviting you to access 40% discount on their set menu on their Bonfire Night celebrations.

Basketball
Great Britain senior women will take to the floor in Manchester for their first home match-up of their EuroBasket Women 2017 qualification games on Wednesday, 25 November 2015. University staff can get closer to the action and snap up their tickets for this must see game against Italy, with reduced [rice for our staff at £5.00 for adults, £3 for children.
