Osteopath now based in the Wellbeing Rooms

19 Oct 2015

Discounted service available to University staff and students

An osteopath offering services to staff and students is now based in the Wellbeing Rooms.

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints.

Chris Jones M.Ost will be offering a discounted service in the treatment room (G.62) of the new Wellbeing Rooms, in the Simon Building (number 59 on the Campus Map).

Chris qualified in 2014 with a Masters in Osteopathy at the BSO, and has since developed a thriving practice in both Manchester and North Wales.

He has a special interest in the effects of the stresses of modern life on posture and in treating the painful musculoskeletal conditions that can result. These often start developing in adulthood as a result of easily correctable bad habits in the ways we deal with work and stress.
