Veg box scheme takes root on campus

The first veg boxes will be ready for collection on Tuesday, 2 June (12 noon - 5.30pm) from the Veg Box People's street market stall by George Kenyon Hall
Veg boxes will then be available for collection every Tuesday going forward including out of term.
The University's own veg box scheme - called Veg Box People - has been launched in association with Manchester Veg People, the cooperative that supplies locally sourced, organic vegetables to catering outlets across campus.
Veg Box People is looking for 100 people to sign up to receive a weekly box of delicious, seasonal organic produce starting at £8 a week. More than 50 members of staff have already signed up, so don’t miss out on your chance to start receiving a weekly box of organic produce.
