The University Furniture Store

The University has been successfully operating the “Furniture Store” for several years – this ensures that furniture being disposed of around campus is re-used/recycled
The Furniture Store is located in the former McDougal Sports Centre (which many staff already know from years back). Staff can visit the store Monday to Friday (1-3pm) to view furniture which is available for re-use free of charge.
Improvements to the service now mean that many items can be delivered at short notice, again free of charge, whilst deliveries of large items can be arranged through a University approved contractor for a small charge.
The Furniture Store contains a wide range of high quality office furniture and storage that could help schools save significant amounts of money.
