5-day development programme for members of University staff, at all levels, with a disability.

This programme aims to enable disabled colleagues of all levels to take more control over their personal and professional lives; to develop resilience to thrive at work; to set and achieve personal goals; and develop as positive role models for others

During the programme participants will:

  • Value and share their own experience and explore their identity
  • Develop self-esteem, self-confidence, enhanced personal styles and ability to relate to others
  • Set personal goals and gain benefit from one to one coaching
  • Develop assertive communication, active listening and project themselves
  • Work effectively with others: using negotiation methods and handling expectations
