Research IT Forum Wed 24 September - for academics and researchers

We invite all academics and researchers at The University of Manchester to our Research IT forum event, starting at 12.30 on Wednesday, 24 September.
This forum will be presented by members of IT Services and Dr Caroline Jay from The School of Computer Science. Caroline, amongst other things, runs a MSc module on software engineering with IT Services’ own Rob Haines. Rob has been on long term secondment with Professor Carole Goble's research group as a research software engineer.
While we prepare for the appointment of a Head of Research IT, we have a high level overview of the new-look Research IT team, together with job descriptions for the management-based roles. See the IT Transformation website for more information.
The forum takes place in Sackville Building G13D on 24 September. Lunch is provided, served from 12.30, and there is no need to book – just drop in.
