06 Aug 2014

EPSRC has awarded the University over £3.2M to deliver an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) following the successful conclusion of its Knowledge Transfer Account (KTA)

Following an extension to the scheme, and now running from September 2012 to March 2017, the IAA will aim to ensure that the University fulfills its strategic Knowledge Exchange objectives in the domains covered by EPSRC research.

The University's IAA Operations Board is pleased to announce the seventh call for proposals for funding under the following mechanisms:

  • Exploitation Secondment Scheme - to increase the exchange of knowledge through mobility of people between the University and user organisations
  • Academic Secondment Scheme - support for academic secondments between the University and businesses and other organisations

The Relationship Incubator Scheme will now be run as an open and responsive call to support early stage contact and strategic alignment between business and academics
