Nearly 10,000 computers upgraded

IT Services have now formally closed a project which ran for over 15 months, upgrading almost 10,000 staff computers to the Windows 7 Managed Desktop. As a result, we have a faster, more modern and more secure desktop estate and campus network, less exposed to the risk borne by out-of-date Windows XP computers.

 

We appreciate and thank you for your patience and help with the work involved in this upgrade, and hope that you have an improved experience with the new desktop.
