Manchester Meeting Place reflects dedicated focus – and exceptional experience for delegates

Manchester Meeting Place

Manchester Meeting Place is the new name for the University’s well-established Staff House Conference Centre located on Sackville Street Campus.

This popular city centre meeting venue has just completed the final phase of its refurbishment with new furnishings, decoration and upgraded a/v equipment in all its meeting rooms.

The building houses many of the University’s Hospitality and Events staff to support meetings, conferences and training events. The new name reflects the building’s dedicated focus in delivering a truly exceptional experience for meeting and conference delegates who now enjoy free flowing freshly ground coffee or tea as well as fresh fruit and biscuits during breaks. Organisers can upgrade meeting packages to include breakfast rolls, smoothies or ice cream to energise their delegates!

The venue’s dedicated 100 seat restaurant has also recently developed an exciting new menu to include a choice of contemporary hot and cold dishes and desserts, from British classics such as a carved joint with all the trimmings, to light vegetarian salads and everything in between using seasonal locally grown produce.

Manchester Meeting Place is just one of 30 venues available at the University.
