The Confucius Institute language courses are 10 weeks in duration, commencing week beginning 27th January 2014 - register now!
- Confidence Chinese - Spread across ten levels, this series is designed for those who wish to develop their Chinese oral communication skills but have a limited amount of time. Confidence sessions are run once a week from 6-8pm on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday evening. Only £120 (just £6 per hour). University staff and student discounts apply.
- Step-by-Step Chinese - With four levels, this series caters for students of all abilities who wish to develop all four skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening, in tandem. Participants are required to commit to two evenings per week, with Step sessions running on both Mondays and Thursdays from 6-8pm. Only £240 (just £6 per hour). University staff and student discounts apply.
We also offer HSK Exam Preparation Courses and One-To-One Tuition.
- HSK 3/4 Exam Preparation Courses - These 6-week long courses are designed to prepare you to take either HSK3 or HSK4 in May 2014. They cover all of the required grammar points, vocabulary and exam techniques necessary to sit the exams and include going through at least 5 past exam papers. Only £60 (just £5 per hour).
- One-To-One Tuition - this private tuition option is ideal if you have specific learning goals, want to learn at your own pace, or just want a bit more flexibility in class times. For more information and to arrange your free induction session, please contact the office on: 0161 275 8667.
Remember, as a Confucius Institute student you will also be eligible to apply for a Confucius Institute Scholarship to study in China for up to a year!
