Aikido at the Sugden Centre

17 Oct 2013

New Iwama Aikido Classes are taking place every Monday evening at the Sugden Sports Centre

Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Moriheir Ueshiba. Individuals gain different things from practice. Some enjoy the martial, physical and technical aspects of one of the most sophisticated martial arts ever developed, while other engage more with aspects of concentration and moving meditation. It is a personal journey with many possibilities.

A new Iwama Aikido Class taught by Ulysses Sengupta from the Manchester School of Architecture is taking place every Monday (during term-times) at the Sugden Sports Centre, Activity Room 1. The classes are on between 8.15pm and 10.15pm and cost between £2-£4 only.
