Family Open Day at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre and Tabley House

11 Sep 2013

University staff can visit both the Discovery Centre and Tabley House free of charge on Saturday, 14 September

Jodrell Bank

If you’re a member of staff here at the University, you and up to three family members can enjoy the Jodrell Bank Visitors Centre and Tabley House, free of charge, at a special open day being held in September.

At Jodrell, you’ll have the chance to learn about the Universe in the interactive exhibits, explore the Galaxy Garden or take an adventure on the Planet Path trail. There will be science shows running at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm and a ‘Meet the Scientist’ at 1.30pm.

And you can discover the ‘hidden gem’ that is Tabley House, with its Collection which features paintings by Turner and furniture by Chippendale.
