Book now for the Supporting Students course

This course is ideal for anyone involved in the non-academic or pastoral support of our students.

This can be staff in Schools or in central Support Services, supporting students on taught or research-based programmes, both undergraduate and postgraduate.

You will be able to learn more about supporting and guiding students, and will find out more about the professional skills needed to work in this kind of role. The session is workshop based with lots of skills-based exercises, case discussions and group work.

The course will be held over six sessions at the Staff Training and Development Unit, Humanities Bridgeford Street:

• Friday 29 November 2013
• Monday 2 December 2013
• Monday 16 December 2013
• Friday 10 January 2014
• Monday 3 February 2014
• Tuesday 4 March 2014
