Legal Advice Centre seeks cases for vacation scheme

17 Jun 2013

The Legal Advice Centre (LAC) will be holding its third summer vacation scheme from 22 July and is looking for suitable cases for the students, working under qualified supervision, to research and advise by way of letter following an appointment.

If you or a family member or friend has a non-urgent issue for which you require legal advice, and can accept that you would not be seen before 22 July, then the LAC would like to hear from you with a clear summary of the problem.

All requests are treated confidentially and are considered by the Centre Director, who reserves the right to decline them if they are either unsuitable for the students to research, if the LAC is fully booked or if they fall outside the remit of the LAC.

The LAC cannot advise on any matter which would conflict with the University, its policies or its staff.

As the LAC will be closing soon for most of the summer, please submit enquiries by email to:

Please be aware that, in some instances, you may have to wait for up to two weeks before you receive a response.
