Enhance your digital teaching, learning and working experience
19 Jan 2026
We want to hear from you to understand the digital environment supporting your teaching, learning and working and help shape improvements across the University.
Colleagues have been telling us where improvements are needed since this year’s Digital Experience Insights survey launched in November. We still need more input to help benefit everyone’s university experience.
Take a few minutes to complete this quick anonymous survey and tell us about your digital experience here at the University. All feedback is welcome so we can make improvements for you.
- Teaching and Learning colleagues - Complete the survey
- Professional Services colleagues - Complete the survey
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete and your responses are anonymous.
What happened with last year’s feedback?
Your feedback is helping make positive changes to everyone’s digital experience. We’ve listened, actioned and want to continue to make things better for you.
Findings of previous years’ surveys were shared with leaders to input recommendations and make plans for future improvements.
See what colleagues and students told us and how we’re supporting meaningful changes:
Here are some of the initiatives we’ve put in place to enhance the University’s digital landscape:
- The University transitioned from Blackboard Learn to Canvas in September 2025 to provide a modern, futureproof Central Learning Environment designed to support you and our learners
- The Supporting Students Digital Capabilities ITL resource details the support to embed digital capability in the curriculum
- LinkedIn Learning offers further development opportunities and provide recognition of digital and professional skills
- The Jisc Discovery tool helps you self-assess your confidence and experience of different digital skills and technologies
Further digital development support is available via Talent Development’s Digital Learning Hub.
With more improvements to come, don’t miss your chance to use your voice and be part of shaping the University’s digital future.
