Student experience projects celebrated at Faculty showcase

17 Dec 2025

Colleagues and students came together to mark a year of impactful projects focused on enhancing the student experience.

Faculty Student Experience Enhancement Grant showcase

The Faculty’s inaugural Student Experience Enhancement Grant showcase took place on Wednesday, 26 November in Christie’s Bistro, bringing together project leads, colleagues and students to celebrate a year of creative projects centred on improving student life.

The Faculty-led grant scheme was established to support projects which develop innovative, evidence-informed improvements to the student experience. In the last year, six projects have been funded by this initiative, focused on the themes of intercultural preparation for studying abroad; student-partnered teaching reviews; student research storytelling; learning through active reflection; enhancing feedback provision; and improving independent language learning.

At the showcase, the six project teams presented the outcomes of their initiatives, sharing insights, resources and the approaches they developed to support teaching, learning and student engagement across the Faculty and Schools.

The projects addressed key teaching, learning and student experience priorities, striving to better understand the needs of students to enhance their time with us and their sense of belonging.

Congratulations to all the project teams for their great work over the year!
