Share examples of how you or your team are driving service excellence.
Service excellence at the University is about delivering consistently high-quality support and services that enable our students, staff, and stakeholders to thrive, and that are efficient, effective and responsive.
In the same way that we aspire for excellence in our teaching and research, we should aspire to be excellent in our service delivery.
The goal of service excellence at the University is to create a PS environment where:
- Teams prioritise delivering a great service
- Tasks are completed just once, without duplication
- Policies, practices and routines are continually reviewed so that we can continue to improve and innovate
- We deliver a people-centred service, recognising where personal relationships matter within service
We would like to hear from colleagues across the Faculty about how you or your team have made positive changes to strive for service excellence, whether that be by improving an established process or creating a new initiative to support existing work.
If you have examples of changes which have had a positive impact on our users or colleagues, please complete this form and share your service excellence story.
Your submission may be used in Faculty staff communications, including but not limited to the Humanities eNews (newsletter), StaffNet, targeted messages and other channels. If you have any questions about how your submission may be used, please email HumsNews@manchester.ac.uk.
