New Collections - Widening the Range of our Digital Archives
The Library has recently expanded our digital archives to include a number of new collections exploring global challenges, humanitarian issues, cultural history, and scientific discovery.
These additions enrich the breadth of our collections and provide fresh opportunities for teaching and research. Highlights include Aging in the Modern World, Royal Anthropological Institute Society archive, the Red Cross and Red Crescent archive and a curated collection from British Online Archives.
For further information see our latest news update.
You can explore these, and many other collections, using Library Search and Manchester Digital Collections.
Research Indicators Gateway: request a report on your research outputs using a range of indicators
The Office for Open Research can help you to better understand the reach and impact of research outputs by providing comprehensive citation analysis, a suite of research intelligence analysis tools, and guidance on the responsible use of research metrics.
You can now request a range of reports through the Research Indicators Gateway, available in the Open Research Tracker.
We can work with you to:
· identify growing trends in research; · map research activity against strategic indicators such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
· identify potential collaboration opportunities both within The University of Manchester and beyond;
· benchmark indications of research impact at the institutional, departmental, and Unit of Assessment level.
For more information, please visit our Research Indicators webpage or contact The Office for Open Research with any questions: openresearch@manchester.ac.uk
The Open Research Tracker
You can use the Open Research Tracker to access publications data maintained by the Library, including REF OA compliance information. More information is available on our Open Research Systems page.
