Recruiting: SEED Associate Director of Assessment

SEED seeks to appoint a new Associate Director of Assessment, starting 1 August, 2025. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 16 May, 2025.

Dear Colleagues, 

The Associate Director for Assessment will monitor, develop and enhance assessment policy, practices and systems in SEED, and working closely with the School’s Professional Services to embed good assessment practice in our programmes and departments.

The Associate Director will play a key role in embedding high-quality assessment practices across SEED’s programmes and departments and will represent the School in Faculty-level discussions on assessment. The role reports to the Director of Teaching, Learning and Students and contributes to the strategic direction of teaching and learning within the School.

The post attracts 1500 workload points

Expressions of Interest should consist of a brief up to date CV with a covering letter of up to 500 words, outlining your suitability for the role and what you would like to achieve if appointed.   Candidate applications will be reviewed by a panel and shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview. The interview will often consist of a presentation and some questions to enable the panel to ascertain suitability for the position.
