SEED seeks to appoint a new Deputy Head of School. The post-holder will contribute to strategic leadership and be involved in the School’s planning and policy. The Deputy Head of School will provide advice and support to the Head of School, deputising in their absence, including attending School, Faculty and University meetings. They will provide academic leadership and management and help to ensure that colleagues make a full contribution towards the objectives of the School, the Faculty and the University in a collegiate and supportive environment.
The start date for the post is 1st August 2025. This is a three-year appointment, with the possibility to extend.
The deadline to submit expressions of interest is Friday, 16 May 2025

Expressions of Interest should consist of a brief up to date CV with a covering letter of up to 500 words, outlining your suitability for the role and what you would like to achieve if appointed.
Candidate applications will be reviewed by a panel and shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview. The interview will often consist of a presentation and some questions to enable the panel to ascertain suitability for the position. The panel will always include members of SLT.
