June 2019: We were proud to be part of the NADSN and LGBT+NoN Conference

May 2019: IDAHOBIT events included a conversation event held at St Peters House; a collaborative event with Delloites and a message of support was communicated from our senior leaders. 

February 2019: We hosted a full timetable of events for LGBT History Month

December 2018: We raised over £500 for World AIDS Day in collaboratoin with the DSN and BAME Networks as well as the Student LGBTQ society.

November 2018: We mark Transgender Day of Remembrance with an event at St Peters House in collaboration with MMU

July 2018: We marked LGBT In STEM Day for the first time

February 2018: LGBT History Month.  A number of different events took place - Check out our new pages for more details.

December 2017: World AIDS Day -we raised over £750 with various bake sales and red ribbon boxes around campus.  We also ran a lunchtime event entitled Positively Speaking.  

November 2017: We marked Transgender Day of Remembrance with the event An Evening With Rachel Mann

August 2016 Pride Events  

Whilst we may not have participated in the parade, there was still plenty happening:
 
- A gallery display of Olympians and sports people from different backgrounds will be displayed in the Alan Turing Building, HBS Building, Ellen Wilkinson and Arthur Lewis Building for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. 
- Wednesday 24 August 1pm: Sarah Newport will host an interesting talk Q&A session about the Hirja/third gender community in India.  Read more and book tickets here 
- In addition we will have banners displayed on Waterloo Place and Sackville Street with the Rainbow flag flying at different locations - why not tweet a picture @UoMLGBT 

June 2016 We have organised a book of condolences for victims of the Orlando Shootings.  This is located in St Peter's Chaplaincy's Auditorium.  Read more here.

17 May 2016  International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) - Mosaic laying followed by film screening of 'The Skinny' at St Peter's Chaplaincy.

December 2015 Over £950 raised for HIV Charities through our World AIDS Day activities.

November 2015 Transgender Day of Remembrance - As well as the Trans Flag flying on Campus we relaunched our Guidance, introduced a new Gender Neutral Toilet Map and had a very informative presentation from Sparkle

September 2015 Bisexuality Visibility Day - you can still take our quiz; We also had the bi flag flying and joined in the thunderclap!

September 2015 We have submitted to the annual Stonewall Workplace Equality Index - results in January 2016

February 2015 WINNERS! ALLOUT is awarded 'NW network group of the year' by Stonewall
