Students wanted to take part in a study on attitudes to music exposure

We are looking for participants to assist in understanding the attitudes and beliefs of young adults to music exposure. This research will look into the way undergraduate students who study music view hearing, hearing loss, and hearing protection, compared to students who study alternative courses. This research may assist us in applying realistic methods of preventing hearing loss that will be appropriate for young adults from different courses.

What does it involve?

You will be asked to attend an interview on the University of Manchester campus. The entire interview process will take 45 minutes in total.

What would I have to do?

We would ask you about your thoughts and feelings regarding listening habits, hearing loss, and how you would protect your hearing. You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire about your attitude to noise. Tea and coffee will be provided during the interview.
