study of motion perception across the lifespan

Ethics ref: 2018-2771-4717

Participants are needed for a study looking at human global motion perception for a session of approximately 2.5 hours.

You will first be asked to complete two simple measures of verbal and nonverbal processing. These will take no longer than 15 minutes each. The primary task will then be to look at a series of stimuli on a computer screen which contain some form of background motion together with a target object. You will be asked to make judgements about the movement of the target object or the background.

Participants must be over 18 years old and have normal or corrected-to-normal (with glasses/contact lenses) vision and no history of neurological disorders.

The study will be conducted in the Zochonis building (Brunswick Street), under the supervision of Dr Paul Warren.  You will be compensated for your time.

If you would like to take part, please send an email with possible times you are available.
