Healthy volunteers needed for study on motor control

We are looking for healthy volunteers to take part in a study looking at how people control motor movements. In order to be eligible you need to:

 

·         Be aged between 18-45

·         Be healthy

·         Have no history of eye conditions

·         Have no history or neurological or psychological illness

·         Have English as your first language

 

 

Experiments involve making finger taps while your brain activity is recorded using Electroencephalography (EEG) and last approximately 2 hours. You will receive a small reimbursement.

 

Experiments are conducted at the University of Manchester, under the supervision of Dr Emma Gowen, Dr Ellen Poliakoff and Dr Stephanie Baines who are researchers that specialize in sensory and motor control.
