new hearing test for babies.

Ethics ref: 15589/2017-2293-3209

We are seeking normally-hearing adult participants (aged 18-30) to take part in research to help develop a new hearing test for babies.

Testing will take around three hours in total and can be spread across more than one session if preferred.

Testing involves a basic hearing test, followed by a longer test in which you will be played sounds through an earphone whilst you sit quietly, watching a film with subtitles. Recording leads will be attached to your scalp which record the brain’s responses to the sounds played.
