Research Staff Excellence Awards 2024

Award nominations now open – there are new categories and an easier nominations process. Deadline Monday, 3 June 2024.
To celebrate and recognise the significant contribution that our research staff community make to the University’s goals and ambitions, the Research Staff Strategy Group are seeking nominations for the 2024 Research Staff Excellence Awards.
For 2024, we have expanded the categories to recognise the exceptional interdisciplinary work done by our researchers, and the impact of research staff and their work through social responsibility initiatives.
The award categories are:
- Research Staff of the Year
- Best Outstanding Contribution to Social Responsibility by Research Staff
- Best Outstanding Interdisciplinary Research
- Best Outstanding Output by Research Staff
- Best Outstanding Contribution to Research Impact by Research Staff
- Best Outstanding Contribution to Research Staff Environment
We've listened to feedback from last year's nominees and made the nomination process easier. Only one statement of support is required for each nominee, and each researcher can be nominated for more than one award.
