Students primarily register and pay tuition fees to The University of Melbourne. Students are also required to complete registration at The University of Manchester to ensure access to Manchester systems and facilities. Only students graduating with a full Masters degree are eligible for the joint degree (PG Cert/PG Dip exit awards are awarded by Melbourne only). Students may graduate from either institution at the end of their MA programme.
Of the 6 taught course units on the programme, 3 are delivered by the University of Manchester on our Learning Environment. When students are studying Manchester-delivered course units, Manchester regulations apply in relation to the following:
- Assessment and marking
- Academic malpractice
- Word Count
