SEED Teaching Innovation Collective - informal scoping event
Wednesday, 26 2023, 2pm-3pm
This informal planning event provides an opportunity for colleagues in SEED to contribute to contribute to the formation of the Teaching Innovation Collective. Activity that is initially envisaged includes a regular coffee club and a teaching innovation padlet. Anyone who is interested in shaping the activity of the collective is welcome to attend. Please register via Eventbrite.
SEED Teaching Innovation Collective – Coffee Club
Tuesday, 16 May 2023, 1pm-2pm
Hanson Room, Humanities Bridgeford Street
Given extensive remote working within the School, it is important for staff with mutual interest to find ways to connect with each other. The Coffee Club provides an opportunity for colleagues with an interest in teaching innovation to exchange ideas in an informal setting. The ongoing frequency of meeting for the Coffee Club will depend on the level of demand. While initial demand for the club is assessed it will help with the planning for tea and coffee if you book in advance on Eventbrite or let Professor Kahn know that you will be attending.
SEED Teaching Innovation Collective – coffee and teaching innovation session
Wednesday, 21 June 2023, 11am-12.15pm

The session will incorporate two 5-10 minute summaries of work-in-progress on innovations in teaching (one focused on continuous induction for undergraduates and the other on monitoring students’ cognitive work); a quick-fire round of introductions/expressions of interest in a topic to discuss over coffee; informal discussion in the remaining time. Please register via Eventbrite.
