Teaching and learning and supporting student changemakers

Student-led opportunities

SEED Social Responsibility Committee

Do you know students that are interested in getting more hands-on with Environmental Sustainability? The SEED Social Responsibility Committee might just be the right activity for them.

Please invite your students to sign up to our SEED student Social Responsibility committee, a Stellify-accredited role, where they can collectively design and implement projects in areas that inspire them.

Sustainability Champions

Sustainability Champions allows our students to take on an additional role alongside their degree programme to promote awareness of sustainability issues among their student peers and encourage environmental action.

University – Ethical Grand Challenge: Sustainability

All undergraduate students are invited to address issues of environmental sustainability in the Sustainability Challenge which forms part of the Ethical Grand Challenges programme. This interactive online activity gets students to think critically about sustainability in a real-world context and empowers them to act on issues that matter most to them.

University Living Lab

The University Living Lab helps to develop student research projects in partnership with external organisations, to help them meet their sustainability goals in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Available to students and staff at our University, these applied project opportunities, set by key organisations, enable participants to make a difference though their studies or research and gain key skills and experience.
