Social Responsibility
Social Responsibility describes the way we make a difference to society and the environment through our teaching, research, public engagement and operations – locally, nationally and internationally.
Social responsibility is one of the three core goals of the University’s vision and strategic plan, alongside teaching and learning and research and discovery.
Social responsibility covers many different types of activity, including:
- Business, civic and public engagement
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Teaching and learning and supporting student changemakers
- Environmental Sustainability
SEED's Social Responsibility Strategy 2023 - 2028 outlines the strategic plan for social responsibility (SR) and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in SEED. It is intended to provide a high-level guide for SR activities in SEED in the period 2023-28.
