Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) support is provided for members of SEED staff and students in the following areas:

• access to GIS/RS data for teaching and research
• access to GIS/RS software training
• advice on geospatial data management
• advice on university GIS/RS software licensing terms and conditions
• geospatial software cluster installations
• help with accessing software for producing online maps
• installation of GIS/RS software on personal laptops or a home computer
• quality assurance of GIS/RS teaching materials
• support in using GIS/RS software.

You should also detail:

• For GIS/RS installation - your machine specifications and operating system
• For geospatial support requests - a summary of your project and the types of spatial data you are trying to source
• For teaching support requests - the dates and times support is required and if any specific testing/ quality assurance of teaching materials is required
