PSS Conference: June 2015
The latest PSS Conference was held on Thursday 18 June at University Place. The Conference opened with the Registrar, Secretary and Chief Operating Officer, Will Spinks, giving his assessment of progress against 2104/15 priorities and the opportunities and challenges ahead.
In the afternoon, Professor James Thompson, Associate Vice-President for Social Responsibility and Julian Skyrme, Director of Social Responsibility gave an insight into the University’s work on Social Responsibility, with the help of three inspirational personal stories.
The Conference concluded with Professor Andy Westwood, Associate Vice-President of Public Affairs, highlighting the key implications of the recent General Election through the medium of lego.
