Accountability
The purpose of the University’s accountability cycle is to review high-level performance and progress in support of the University's strategy. Performance conversations are held through the year by the University Executive (UE), with regular reporting to the Board of Governors as well as an accountability-focused discussion in July.
UE is responsible for setting institutional level targets and has oversight of the University's performance against the strategy.
UE’s executive committees are responsible for reviewing performance within their own remit, as well as where performance issues intersect (e.g. research and EDI), and updating UE on progress and actions.
Faculties and Professional Services functions are represented through these key bodies as well as discussing performance in their own leadership teams.
