Accountability
The purpose of the University’s accountability cycle is to review high-level performance and progress in support of the University's strategy. Performance discussions are held through the year by the University Executive (UE), with regular reporting to the Board as well as an annual overview in July.
UE is responsible for setting institutional level targets and has oversight of the University's performance against the strategy. It updates the Board through the President's Report. The Board also holds an annual deep dive into each of the eight strategic metrics.
UE’s Executive Committees are responsible for monitoring performance within their own remit, as well as where activity intersects (e.g. research and EDI), and updating UE and the Board on progress and actions.
Faculties and Professional Services functions also monitor performance through their own leadership teams.
The Integrated Planning Team, the Business Intelligence team, the Governance Office and the President's Office work together to ensure that all areas are reporting to UE and the Board in a timely manner.
