UK Government briefing session to help researchers and research-related staff understand research security issues – application deadline Friday, 17 October.

The North West Partnership for Security and Trust (NWPST) is to host a Trusted Research briefing session in Manchester to help researchers and research-related staff understand research security issues.

There will also be opportunities to ask questions and network with the academic community at the event, on Tuesday, 4 November.

The day – created by the UK Government’s National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and the Research Collaboration Advice Team (RCAT) – will be split into a mix of briefing sessions and interactive workshops. There will be an optional slot for departure between 1pm and 1.45pm if you are unable to attend the full day.

Interested attendees should contact NWPST@manchester.ac.uk with their Expression of Interest no later than Friday, 17 October.
