The Careers Service
As an academic adviser you have an important role to play in supporting students in their journey through university and beyond. Students tell us they really appreciate help from academic staff and want to hear about different career journeys related to their course. You can help by talking about the skills they are developing, explore how they might use skills in different careers and direct them to support and resources to explore this further.
The Careers Service has web pages for Academic Advisors with further information and your Careers contacts for each academic area.
