April SEP Leaders Update
30 Apr 2021
Each month, student experience leaders deliver an update on SEP to their teams. April’s update can be found below.
Key messages:
Cohort 1
- The recruitment process has concluded and all colleagues have been advised of outcomes. A small number of remaining vacancies will now be advertised more widely.
- From June there will be a focus on transition and training on new process and technology. This will include academic colleagues, such as admissions tutors.
- Transition will take place up to the start of the next academic intake cycle in October, when new structures and technology will be fully implemented.
Cohort 2
- In March 2021, significant engagement began with both staff and students. Feedback is wide-ranging in focus, constructive and detailed. Feedback relating to structures is currently being reviewed in detail.
- In May and June, through these cascade packs, we will share the plans for business readiness and technology and process release, in response to your feedback.
- This is the beginning of the feedback loop. We have so far received over 100,000 words of feedback. It will not be possible to respond to each piece of feedback, but as we develop more detailed proposals over the coming weeks and months, we are committed to explaining how your feedback has been used in decision making.
