- Under Request type choose "Access to a certified dataset to build a report"
- Select the dataset you require
Request a new report
Dashboard reports are available in the Power BI reporting catalogue - please check first if any of these fulfil your requirements.
If you can't locate the report you require, or you would like to request an additional report please email business.intelligence@manchester.ac.uk. The team will review the request and contact you ASAP to discuss.
Give feedback or report a problem
If you want to suggest improvements to reports or dashboards, or flag any inconsistencies in the data, calculations, measures etc, or if you have a technical issue (error messages, data not pulling through, long loading times, etc) please email business.intelligence@manchester.ac.uk. The team will review the request and contact you ASAP to discuss.

Data security in dashboards and reports
Reports: Users should not see any personal data in the reports, as it has been aggregated. We have also hidden any sensitive fields below counts of five (e.g. ethnicity, disability) to prevent identification of any individuals.
Datasets: When requesting access to a dataset, analysts are required to read and agree to the conditions of use. This requires that analysts complete the mandatory Data Protection training, only access data from a University-owned device, and do not share any data externally. This process has been endorsed by the Information Governance Office - and will be kept under review to ensure it remains robust and personal data is protected.
