Dashboard reporting

We are currently developing a set of Power BI dashboards to improve organisational insights and support strategic planning and accountability for internal leaders. The dashboards will use pre-modelled datasets giving users access to the same data, with consistent definitions applied.

The University dashboard will be owned and actively used by the University Executive to track the performance of the eight metrics from the strategy. Through data visualisations the dashboard will show a summary of the latest performance, ambition (target), direction of travel and a RAG rating with rationale. Users will be able to interrogate the underlying data to see more granular detail, peer comparisons, and trends.

Dashboards are also being developed for use by the Executive Committees, the Faculty Executive Teams, and functional areas. These will allow a broader view of performance linked to other priorities in the strategy and the supporting work packages, again with the ability for users to take a deep dive into the underlying data and build their own reports.

The dashboards will be rolled out during 2026.
