January 2011 showcase

The Faculty hosted a Teaching and Learning Showcase event on Tuesday 11th January 2011.

This event included a number of presentations given by colleagues from across the Faculty to discuss a range of approaches and technologies to improve improving student learning, student experience and the staff experience. The presentations centred around the main themes of:

  • Enhancing student identity
  • Assessment and feedback
  • Managing large classes

There was also the opportunity for staff to find out more about the key technologies that are being used to support teaching and learning, both through the sessions and through demonstrations by the Faculty eLearning Team throughout the afternoon.
