Faculty launches microsites for Size and Shape and Hybrid Working projects

08 Jun 2021

Keep up to date with the progress of these major areas of work.

Along with the other two Faculties, Humanities is supporting two key projects which could help ensure we can provide the best possible future for our staff and students.

To ensure you can keep up to date on our input into the Size and Shape and Hybrid Working projects we have set up two microsites that will be regularly updated with our progress.

Size and Shape

The Size and Shape site has been extensively expanded to give a complete overview of Phase 1, including a video summary of the aims and recommendations of each of the four Work Streams set up to address:

  • Teaching portfolio demand;
  • Size optimisation;
  • Product development and marketing;
  • Finance.

It outlines the next phase of the work that will be progressed by the Student Number Working Group and Implementation Team, and includes a link to key resources and updates.

Hybrid Working

Hybrid working across the Professional Services is being trialled between June 2021 and August 2022. During this period, the Working Smarter, Living Better University project board will be assessing, refining and co-developing our approach to hybrid working taking into account feedback from colleagues.

The new Hybrid Working microsite provides information on the Humanities Working Group, created feed in recommendations to the University trial report and work with managers to implement, embed and track the progress of the pilot across the Faculty.
