Post-occupancy evaluation survey - Late 2023

Our first-building wide survey will be launching during Semester 1 in late 2023. This will be an opportunity for colleagues across all role types to provide feedback around their experience throughout our first full year based in the home of Engineering and Materials. The findings from this survey will have huge implications, not only for those of us based in the building but the wider University and its approach to Capital Estates projects and building design goign forward so colleagues are encouraged to take part and share their experience.

Past activity

Focus groups - February / March 2023

A series of focus groups were held between February to April 2023, as a way for colleagues to let us know what's working well and any areas for improvement following their move into the home of Engineering and Materials. These were broken up by staff groups - Academic colleagues, PDRAs, PGRs and PS staff - to explore experience of new ways of working and teaching and research facilities where applicable, with 47 colleagues taking part across nine focus sessions.
