Getting assessed for Dyslexia or another Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLDs)

DASS can provide support for staff with SpLDs, such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. To enable us to identify appropriate support, we ask that you provide us with a diagnostic report completed by an Educational Psychologist. Educational Psychologists are the people who can diagnose SpLDs.

If you suspect that you have a SpLD, but have never been formally assessed, DASS can help to organise an assessment with an Educational Psychologist.  There will be a charge for the assessment, which DASS can’t fund, but we can discuss funding options with you.
