Programme delivery

In line with the shift to virtual working for many, the upcoming cohorts for Leading at Manchester will be facilitated using a blended approach combining self-directed online learning with facilitated virtual workshops. We will now be running our Launch and Impact events face to face, in line with Hybrid working at the University.

Online learning portal hosted on Microsoft Teams

A core feature of the programme is self-directed learning and cohort collaboration, which sits alongside the facilitated sessions. These materials will now be hosted on a dedicated Team for each cohort in MS Teams, to allow participants to keep track of activities, participate in online discussion forums and collaborate with peers between sessions.

Facilitated virtual workshops

The facilitated programme modules are now being delivered virtually by the Learning and Organisational Development Team and external leadership experts. We acknowledge that online learning is more tiring than traditional face-face delivery, and so these modules are delivered though a series of short sessions throughout the day, interspersed with smaller group work and individual work, allowing time for plenty of breaks.
