FSE recognised at 2023 SU awards

On Tuesday 2 May, the Students’ Union held their annual academic awards.

These awards celebrate the magnificent work of staff and students at the University and FSE colleagues were delighted to receive recognition in several categories. These included:

  • Commitment to decolonising the curriculum – Emily Cooksey (shortlisted)
  • Commitment to the student voice – Daniel Lee (winner), Keith Grainge (shortlisted)
  • Exceptional support staff - Simon Holden, Riza Moodley, Victoria Stafford and Angela Dermody (shortlisted)
  • Inclusive and accessible teaching Practice - Jessica Boland and Tom Rodgers (winners), Abdullatif Alfutimie and Emily Cooksey (shortlisted)
  • Outstanding postgraduate research supervision - Wuliang Yin (winner)
