26 Apr 2022

An open meeting to update staff on the direction of travel for the Flexible Learning strategy is taking place on Wednesday, 11 May, 11.30am - 12.30pm

Over the past months, our Flexible Learning team has spoken to as many staff and students as possible to learn more about what they need to make the move to blended and flexible learning a success.

We visited local events, offered the option to feed in via an online form and held a series of workshops that were attended by close to 700 staff and students.

Now we’d like to share the outputs of this engagement with you, as well as giving you a first look at key headlines from our draft strategy, which will go to Senate for approval in October 2022.

It’s a chance to learn more about what the future of teaching and learning at the University of Manchester will look like, ask questions and let us know if there’s anything we’re missing.

Professors Dan George, Associate Vice-President for Blended Learning, and Steve Pettifer, Deputy Director for Flexible Learning, will host the event. They will be joined by the Flexible Learning academic theme leads and Faculty leads for the programme, as well as members of the Students’ Union Executive Team.

You can ask questions either before the session during registration, or in person, live at the event.

Places are limited to 300 people. For those unable to attend, the session will be live-streamed and recorded.

Please note, the Zoom link will be circulated prior to the event via email to those who have registered.
