Women in Physics

About us

The University of Manchester Women in Physics Society was founded in February 2017. Our main goal is to support the career advancement of women physicists at the university and to provide networking opportunities. Alongside many events, the group will host regular meet-ups which will feature guest female physicists speaking about both their research and their experience navigating their career. We hope to create an inclusive community that both invites women to connect with each other and allows everyone in the physics community to connect with and learn from the experiences of their female colleagues. 

We welcome both women and men, and participants from all disciplines to become members and contribute to our efforts.
