Travel to work
The University provides options for more affordable travel and is committed to supporting and promoting travel by sustainable means . To support your travel choices we provide reduced price on-campus car parking, a Cycle to Work Scheme, annual interest free travel loans and a car share scheme.
Since the introduction of hybrid ways of working, a number of travel providers have introduced more flexible ticketing options. These may be more affordable for staff only on campus for a few days a week. Visit providers' websites for more information.

You can also access free travel on the 147 bus by simply showing your staff ID card. Free travel will be available from the following stops only:
From South Campus to North Campus
1. University (outside Students Union)
2. University (near Booth Street West)
You can travel as far as Sackville Gardens (Whitworth Street).
From North Campus to South Campus
1. University (Vimto Park)
