Join an informal conversation with Faculty Executive colleagues

Feedback from the most recent Your Voice Matters survey highlighted the importance of improving how we communicate and engage with colleagues when change is taking place. As part of our response, we are introducing a series of small, informal discussion sessions with members of Faculty Executive.

Change can sometimes feel harder to engage with, particularly when the wider context or reasons behind decisions are not clear. These sessions will provide an opportunity to hear more about the factors influencing change across the University and Faculty, ask questions and share your perspectives directly with Faculty Executive colleagues. The sessions are also intended to help Faculty Executive understand what colleagues need and want from future communication.

Each session will be led by members of Faculty Executive and will involve a small group of colleagues. They are intended to be conversations rather than formal presentations, helping us better understand how information about change is being received across the Faculty. We are particularly keen to hear from colleagues who may not often have the opportunity to contribute in larger or more formal meetings.

A number of sessions will take place in person across the Faculty between September and November. Colleagues will be allocated to sessions following the registration deadline and those colleagues confirmed for a session will receive a meeting invitation with full details.
