Objective: Provide a secure online system for storing and sharing audio/video content that may contain sensitive information. This will be managed by the University and used by colleagues instead of third-party hosting sites (such as Vimeo).

Benefits:

Improved security: Content stored securely in a single system approved by the University's Information Governance Office.
Following regulations: Better guidance and support to help colleagues control how sensitive media is used - including capturing, loading, storing, using, removing after use, and recording consent. All of this is required under UK government regulations.
Better access control: Users can control who accesses their content, including limited third-party access if needed.
Easier to find content: Better search functionality and meta-information will make it easier to find what you need.
Reduced duplication: Easy to search and find content already on the platform, reducing unnecessary copies.
Works with Teams: Content can be streamed as part of Teams sessions and captured to the appropriate library.
